Kaya Kweru Resort, in Ponta D’ouro is a place where you forget about daily life and just
relax to the sound of the Indian Ocean. Kaya Kweru means “Our Home” or “The Home
of Everybody” and this is exactly how we intend your stay to be.
Kaya Kweru is only 40 meter’s walk to the beach where you can spend the day
swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing or just lazing in the sun. Our amenities include a
swimming pool, braai area, lounge area and restaurant. We also have a Sports Bar with
DSTV, so for those sports enthusiasts, you won’t need to worry about missing any
games. Check out the beautiful ocean view, watch the sunset or learn how to drum
from our roof top patio.
Comfort is our priority therefore Kaya Kweru boasts an up market friendly resort with
24 en-suite rooms. In all of our suites you will find complete bed linens, duvets, air
conditioning, en-suites with shower and tiled flooring. Our Housekeeping staff will make
sure your suite has fresh bath towels and is cleaned daily. We cater to small groups as
well as larger groups, just let us know what you need and we will take care of the rest.

Kaya Kweru is a fully catered resort with the following to offer: 100 seater pool deck restaurant, 80 seater restaurant, 200 capacity action bar with a big screen, 100 capacity cocktail deck which has great 360 views of Ponta Do Ouro, a large family swimming pool & a fully equipped recreational centre that offers 4x4 trails, quad bike hire, dolphin encounters, fishing & diving charters. Kaya Kweru also caters for larger functions such as group diving trips, weddings,  and large birthday bashes.

The singles rooms at Kaya Kweru are priced per room sharing and have single beds in them. Kaya Kwerus Deluxe and Super Deluxe rooms are very spacious & have large double beds and a cosy veranda with table & chairs for those intimate moments.
There are 5 other restaurants other than Kaya Kweru (which has the best food in town)
Besides our 2 bars there is also another 3 bars in town and others outside of town.
Try out our local drink R&R (rum and rasberry) goes down well on a hot day.
Try out the local shebeens for some cheap drinks and blend in with the locals.
Quad bike hire is also available -  ask at reception.
Kite surfing courses also available - ask at reception.
Dolphin viewing is a must and costs ZAR 220 p/person approx 2 hours ( enquire at reception.)
Turtle viewing is also a must.
Whales you can usually see in August-November on their way to Cape Town.
Whale sharks are also common and usually seen when going on the dolphin trips.
