To wet your appetite, here are just a few of the incomparable underwater experiences awaiting you at Guinjata Resort
Manta reef(17-30m)
Experienced Dive Masters will introduce you to the reef's inquisitive Manta Rays and diving protocols to interact with them. If you manage to tear your eyes from the reef, huge schools of Devil Rays can also be seen near the surface. The following can be regularly seen: Giant frog fish, Painted frog fish, Paper fish, Flying gurnetts, Sea moths, Bonded shrimps, Crowned emperor shrimps, Up to 13 species of nudibranchs, Honeycomb eels, Giant moray eels, Long horned box cowfish to mention just a few. AGFA's award winning wildlife photo for 2003 was taken at Manta Reef. An absolute Photographers Paradise.
Guinjata local reef
At a depth of between 9 and 26m, the Guinjata Local Reefs are located approximately 1km from the launch site and has 6 dive sites providing a variety of diving options.

    * Pao Rock (12-18m) and Pinnacles are a macro photographer's first choice with brightly coloured nudibrances, well camouflaged leaf fish and a variety of shrimp.
    * Cave (9-12m) is an amphitheatre with swim-through cave that features a resident dragon moray, puffer fish, miniature tobies as well as murex and conch shells.
    * Devil's Peak (12-18m) is an almost free standing rock with a swim-through and is home to Potato Bass, banded cleaner shrimp and frogfish.

Paindane reef
The strong current around the reef has earned its nickname “Paindane Express”. The reef starts close to shore in about 18m of water and runs rapidly down to 35m. Brilliantly coloured corals, Gorgonian sea fans, fast moving game fish and occasional sighting of reef sharks make for a particularly interesting dive.
Gear & Equipment
We have a full range of expertly maintained ScubaPro gear. From cylinder, BCD, regulator, weight belt, mask, fins, wetsuit to dive computers. All diving gear is available to rent - especially for people flying in. Guinjata Resort offers 2 x 8m ruber ducks for diving charters. There are also Bauer compressors to fill cylinders.

It features fresh water dunking bins to rinse your dive gear and fresh water showers and toilets for your convenience. A shade netting floor will help prevent all that sand getting into your gear and equipment. At Guinjata Dive Centre, we make the diving life easy!
